BLS trainings were started in collaboration with Association of Pakistani Physicians of New England –USA (APPNE) & Disaster Relief by Irish & Pakistanis Ireland (DRIP), in the beginning 33 trainings in BLS were held across Pakistan and AJK from year 2006 – year 2007.

In August 2008, certified trainings were initiated by DRIP, accredited by NASC & PHECC. DRIP launched this project by the name of Institute of Learning Emergency Medicines (ILEM) .So Far 34 trainings in CFR have been conducted and almost 1000 people including Doctors, Medical Students, Nurses, Paramedics, College Teachers and Students have been trained.

During this period 31 instructors from major cities like Lahore, Gujranwala, Abbottabad, Muzaffarabad, have been trained. For summary of trainings please click here.
